Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Cabinet Drafter at Cabinet Pros OK LLC in Paul's Valley, OK. The Cabinet Drafter will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and plans for custom cabinets, collaborating with designers and to ensure accuracy, and assisting in the production process.

Position Title: Drafter

Location: 106 East Coffee Ave, Paul's Valley, OK 73075

Employment Type: Full time, 40 hrs./week (will consider part-time for student looking to move to full-time)

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled drafter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality finishes in commercial projects. You will be responsible for drafting commercial cabinet/millwork projects. After finishing drafting a job, you will be coordinating and sending it out into production in the shop for the appropriate machining process. I.E - CNC machine, table saw, panel saw, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Great communication skills and ability to work well with others in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with other carpenters and construction professionals on projects to stay on schedule.
  • Organized and efficient, with good planning skills in order to maintain schedule.

Skills/Experience:

  • Understanding of millworks, cabinet assembly and installation, and countertop assembly and installation to better assist the design process.
  • Proficiency in Mozaik cabinet drafting software or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with CNC machines and operations.
  • AutoCAD proficiency or equivalent.
  • Solid Works/Vcarve Pro experience.
  • Basic office skills - printer, Microsoft Word, Google Docs, etc.
  • Strong ability to read blueprints and follow construction plans.
  • Excellent attention to detail and precision in design work.
  • Good problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise during on site install and in shop assembly.

Requirements:

  • Legal US resident.
  • Have a valid driver's license and reliable means of transportation.
  • Be able to pass drug testing.

Schedule:

  • 4 x 10, start at 6:30a.m. - 5:30p.m.
  • Monday to Thursday
  • Two 15-minute breaks:
  • 9:00a.m. - 9:15a.m.
  • 3:00p.m. - 3:15p.m
  • 1 hour lunch break 11:30a.m. - 12:30p.m.

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License - Required
  • OSHA 10 - Preferred
